Dr. Barry Logan is a leading forensic toxicologist and educator in the field of forensic science. Holding academic appointments at Arcadia University, Temple University, and Indiana University at Bloomington, among others, toxicologist Barry Logan is also the executive director of the Center for Forensic Science Research and Education (CFSRE) at the Fredric Rieders Family Foundation.
With a 10,000-square-foot laboratory and classroom facility in Willow Grove, Pennsylvania, CFSRE is equipped with the latest technology to propel forensic investigation and learning forward. The laboratory space totals 3,000-square feet and includes a biology area with ceiling-installed power outlets for custom lighting and tabletop equipment, as well as a forensic toxicology and chemistry instruction and research area.
Additionally, the laboratory’s instrument area spans 2,500-square feet and makes instruments available to students, staff, and visiting scientists. The laboratory also features a separate area equipped with DNA analysis instrumentation.
The two CFSRE classrooms are equipped with ceiling-installed projectors and screens, whiteboards, and a ceiling-installed audio system. The classrooms can hold up to 24 people each, and can be joined to accommodate up to 60 people for presentations and other special events.
