ASCLD Scholarship Opportunities

Barry Logan, Toxicologist

broken image

An experienced toxicologist based in Pennsylvania, Dr. Barry Logan serves as the executive director of the Center for Forensic Science Research and Education, a position he has held since 2010. In addition to his role as a toxicologist, Dr. Barry Logan stays abreast of emerging trends in the field and connects with peers through the American Society of Crime Laboratory Directors (ASCLD).

ASCLD takes an active role in the future of the forensic science profession through scholarship programs for both undergraduate and graduate students pursuing studies in the field. While these scholarships typically are for $1,000 each, the total number of awardees and the actual amounts they receive are determined by the funding available.
To be eligible for ASCLD scholarships, applicants must be junior undergraduate students or studying at the graduate level in either master’s or doctorate degree programs. To learn more about ASCLD scholarships or to apply, visit ascld.org/nominations.
